Our take on the classic 1991 Range Rover Classic Hunter model brochure photo. 33 years after its debut, the stripped down spec of the Classic is now one of the rarest models produced. Offered in 4 colors, no leather or power seats, no sway bars, no ABS, no sunroof or fog lights/lower air dam. The only options added were a genuine rear dog guard with gun clips, non painted wheels, rear cargo net, Goodyear tires, and a Hunter decal. Put the Rovers to work 🚤

Going against the grain on this one, but we have never been pure purists here. In our opinion LR missed an opportunity in 1993 on their limited run of the North American Spec 110’s. Granted it was amazing to get a NAS model for the US market, they were all Alpine White, and boring. Painted white Safety Devices roll cages provided little contrast. What makes a Defender station wagon stand out is a white top, and this was lost on the entire washed out color. After owning our NAS 110 we began to realize what a missed opportunity other colors were not offered on the 110. There are so many amazing LR colors in the 90’s era portfolio, it would have been amazing to see Coniston Green, Portofino Red, Beluga Black, Arles Blue and Willow Green. A true limited run of 100 of each of these colors would have made an historic collection of the most desired colors! But no they are all white for the most part. Except a handful that have had owners brave enough to depart from the norm and respray these examples. Does that hurt some feelings? You bet. But we think it’s amazing to see NAS 110’s in anything but white. Save white for the D90 soft tops (the best white combo). If you know of any NAS 110’s that are repainted, send over the pics to us! We would love to see and share. Of course we have our own Arles Blue #316 shown here, and a Willow Green #500 currently for sale if you are in the market! Let us know your thoughts below! We love to stir it up sometimes 😂

North American Spec D110 #316/500 has been under the knife at @brooklyncoachworksvirginia for the last month. They replaced the tired LT77 transmission with an Ashcroft r380, new clutch with HD throw out bearing, heater box repair, removed all electronic ignition that was installed by prior owner and returned to original set up. Replaced a few old sensors, and new stainless braided oil cooler lines. She’s running amazingly! Ready for some adventures ⛰️🦏🗺️
